Sri Lanka issues an electronic travel authorization that arrives by email within a day or two and allows up to two entries within six months.
What the Sri Lankan ETA is
An electronic tourist entry authorization issued in advance and linked to your passport. It can be used within six months of issue and permits stays of up to 30 days per entry, for up to two entries.

Extending your stay
Stays can be extended to 90 days at the immigration office in Colombo. The extension carries an additional fee and is arranged in country, not in advance.
