Kenya eTA: the complete guide
Kenya abolished tourist visas in favour of an electronic travel authorization required from every traveller — infants included, and including people who used to enter on a visa.
What changed
Since 2024 Kenya no longer issues ordinary tourist visas. In their place is an eTA — filed in advance, linked to your passport and delivered by email. It is required of every traveller regardless of nationality.
What to file
Vaccination and health
Not every traveller needs a yellow fever certificate — it depends on your route and the countries you pass through. Arriving from an endemic area makes it mandatory. We flag this during our check so it is not a surprise at the border.
What it costs
The fee is around ILS 125 per traveller. With Visale the all-in price is ILS 214 per traveller, including completion, a document check, filing and tracking.
